Since the age of 8 I have supported Manchester United. My father was friendly with the then Manchester United goalkeeper Gary Bailey's father, and as a kid we went over to Manchester to see him playing.

Never forgot that experience, esepcially as we had lunch at his house the day of the match!!.

A few years ago, after Gary Bailey had retired and moved back to South Africa, I organised a trip for some local supporters of Manchester United and we saw Man United beat Liverpool and IFK Gothenburg.

Gary was my room rate, and he took me around all the pubs that the players used to frequent in his day.

It was fantastic have a few pints with Gary, Jesper Olsen, Norman Whiteside and Bryan Robson, all of which were my idols as I was growing up!!

Because Gary was an ex player and I was the tour organiser, Manchester United invited us to watch the IFK Gothenburg game from the directors suite.

Seated at my table was ... Roy Keane, Paul Parker, Norman Whiteside, Gary and Eric Cantona!!!!

Fantastic night that I will remember for the rest of my life!!!

I have been lucky to have met most of the players from the 1993/4 Championship winning team, and proud to have a picture with the great Sir Alex Ferguson!!!

Growing up as a kid, it was my ultimate dream to play goalkeeper for Manchester United!!!

Unfortunatley the closest I ever got was playing goalkeepre for my local Sunday League team, which wore the replica Man United kit!!!

I am the good looking goalkeeper!!!
