Stanserhorn: revolve yourself

Stanserhron is a beatiful mountain top near Luzern.
Go there when its a sunny day. You can enjoy the cog-wheel train ride, followed by the cable-car.

Its a beatiful view from there. You can relax on the view-point as well as in the revolving restaurant.
The revolving restautant was not as magnificent as I expected, but the food and the view was.
It is also possible to sit in the open-air part of the restaurant (not revolving, off course !!)
If you are lucky, you can see the para-gliders take off from there (we were lucky).

Many people (loacal as well as tourists) like to trek down from (or up to) the top, which you can see on your journey by the cable car.

Highly recommended.

Stanserhorn offers a great take-off point for para-gliders. On a typical sunny day in Summer, you will
witness several paragliders travelling there with their equipments.
Its a joy to actually watch them take off.
