Our family used to own a holiday home on the Natal South coast, a small place called Pennington. We used to go there as often as possible. The beach was fabulous, with a great tidal pool.
This photo was taken about 10 years ago.
Love windy days and deserted beaches - although nowdays you would probably get robbed, raped or killed on a deserted beach in South Africa - so rather not.
There is actually a sign on the Wild Coast beach to the effect that one must be cautious on the beach alone. Some tourists have sadly been fatally attacked. |
|  | Working in the U.K This was in London - think it was at the Richmond station - which would make it on the outskirts, zone 6?
We worked in Derby for 6 months in 1991, but would visit London at least every alternate weekend.
I simply havent the energy to create a London page - besides there are hundreds so you're not missing my 10 cents worth! |
| | Cornwall, England This was a wonderful day spent at St Ives fishing village in Cornwall. Certainly one of the most picturesque villages in the area.

| | 1996, Kruger National Park Holiday I was irritated in this photo!
The story behind this pic- We had stopped at a view site in the Kruger Park - you are not supposed to exit the car (lions, leopards etc) Well my look was saying - hurry up and take the darn photo before something eats me! So both irritation and trepidation!
One day I will get around to creating my Kruger pages - I have spent a lot of time there! |
| | Sun City 1999 I am always asked about this photo - my passport photo. Some people have even asked if it's my 'kitty' at home! LOL. Hello!! .
Well it was funny actually. These cubs were at Sun City. So cute, I couldn't resist cuddling this one. Was fine up until the point it picked up that I was still lactating - and started looking for the source - can you see?? EEEEEEEK!!!
Needless to say, it got dumped in a hurry. bad enough with my own child, not to mention a lion cub! |
