Views from the Brevent

Cable car reaches the top station
There are many beautiful hikes that you can reach from the top station of the Brevent, and also a small rock climbing area that stays cool even in the heat of summer.

But beware! The climbs are very difficult for their grades here.

If you look carefully in this photo and the 3rd one, you can see parapentes flying - this is a popular 'take off' area for parapenting flights. It is similar to hangliding, but with a parachute sail rather than a triangular hard frame.

Here you can see the Mont Blanc Massif in the background as you hike.

One very beautiful and popular route is to go from the mid-station of the Brevent and walk across the valley in the direction of Argentiere to the Flegere ski station. All the while you will get beautiful views of the Mt Blanc massif.

Great page!! I'll be there in less than 2 weeks ;-))) From your tips, looks like The Caleche may be our best bet to cater for a group of 12-14 looking for traditional cuisine! Pls let me know if you have other suggestions...thx!
