A great day for a hike!
This peak is one of many along the San Gabriel Mountains.
The weather was great!
Even though it was in the dead of summer, the weather up here was pretty mild. Plus, all the trees along the trail helped keep us cool as we made our way through all the switchbacks.

Rather steep, don't you think?
Elevation: 9,399ft.
From the peak here, we were able to see the other mountain peaks like San Gorgonio and Baldy!

Angela - thanks for all the great tips. Was like a walk down memory lane. Still need to checking out any hiking pages. Used to head off to the Sierras any chance I got.

Hi Angela, t'was great to finally meet you in person too. The weekend was fun. Hey I finally did the Mt. Baden-Powell hike. Not bad. I'm hiking up Mt. Whitney in a few weeks. I'm a little bit nervous about. =) Hope all is well.
