Smaller groupers hang out under overhangs.
I don't know what these are. I've never seen them before, but saw a number of them in Bonaire.
These are in the scorpionfish family and supposedly can sting you with their spines. I try not to get too close.
These starfish are all over the place.
Gobies are cute fish. I like how they try to be brave & guard their homes until the last second when they say, "yikes!" and hide.
Every once in a while, you peek into a crevice and find one of these. They're quite pretty!
I keep asking, "where are the claws???" These guys would lose a fight with New England lobsters!
We saw so many eels in Bonaire! And they don't hide, either. They swim around blatantly in the daylight! There are more snowflake eels than green ones but there are plenty to go around.

You always hear about Aruba and Curacao, but rarely about Bonaire. I learned something. Maybe the car hires will devise a way to boobytrap the windows to adjust the attitudes of the hooligans who smash them.
