The S Curve

On the way to Tiradentes, there is a neat S curve, with a hill that allows for a great view of the train and the hills and cliffs of the ridge near the line.
This curve allows multiple photos to be taken, due to the long period of time the train is visible.

Two Bridges

There are two bridges of some significance remaining on the line. They are both interesting places to get photos of the trains, though the one pictured here is somewhat difficult to locate.

In Tiradentes Proper

In the city of Tiradentes proper, the locomotives are turned on a manual turntable. The train is then ready to go back to Sao Joao del Rei.

The Station

The station at Tiradentes has several snack booths nearby, as well as frequent visits by horse drawn carriage drivers who give tourists a trip to any location in this small city.

A Crossing Next to the Station

allows the entire city to know when the trains arrive and depart, due to the whistle blowing that happens there.
