You can go by air to Gothenburg from the most places in Europe,and start your trip for discovering this wonderful part of Sweden by car that You easily rent on a lot of places in and around Gothenburg.
Summertimes they often has special offers with lower prices for car rental.
Start with the highway road number 40 and in about one hour You are passing Borås the town that was the center of swedish clotes and textile factorys some years ago.
Make a stop and visit the Borås Zoo
with a lot of unique animals or take a swim in the Adventures pool at Stadsparksbadet.
From Borås You can take different small roads north, east, west but my desicion is road number 40 again until you pass Tolkabro where you turn left don´t forget to take a brake there you can fill gasoline , shop food and get very good advises for playing on trotting in the small country shop with their nice staff.
From Tolkabro take the small roa to Hökerum .....to be continued
