Here are some additional photos for those bird lovers out there. These were all taken at Kruger during the wet season. Apparantly, that is when you will see an abundance of birds.....and we did!

We came across three cheetahs at the side of the road, they appeared to be stalking a herd of antelope on the other side of the road. Unfortunately, it appeared that we interrupted them and although we waited patiently, we did not get to witness "a kill".

Lilac Breasted Roller

I loved all the multicoloured birds that we saw, including this lilac breasted roller. Our guides were very good at identifying them for us.

Very nice page Kathy you were in the same Park (Hluhluwe=umfolozi ) as Lori & I were , we stayed 3 nights in a tree house ,it was wonderful There was another park called Bonamanzi I believe , tough names eh Kathy great pictures.
