My Travel Itineraries

I started my journey in the afternoon. Esplanade and Merlion Park are in adjacent area, so I plan to see it all in one trip. As usual, MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) system in Singapore is the best and cheapest way to travel, especially when I am travelling alone. I alighted at City Hall Station, and take a walk to Esplanade. There are signboard everyway, so finding it wasn't seems a problem to me. After about 10-15 minutes walk, I can see this new Singapore's landmark architecture from few 100 metres away. Merlion is just located at the other side of Singapore river bank. Frankly speaking, there is not much things to do except photo-shooting. I spent only 2 hours there. When I walked back to the MRT Station through the covered walkway, I spent the rest of my day time shopped around the 4 linked shopping mall, Raffles City, Marina Square, Suntec City and Millenia Walk. At about 6pm in the evening, I met my friends and we decided to dine in Clarke Quay. Here is the place where you can find many restaurant serving Western Food, Chinese Food and Sea Food. The price is a bit higher. If you want some lower price food, you can look for a food court selling local food in usual price. After dinner, we have a pleasant walk along the river bank, and take a boat tour down the river to experience the night scene of Singapore River.
