Have bags will travel Let us start with my travels at the beginning of the year. February usually see's us in Barbados , where we have many friends to chill out with. We have been visiting the Island since 1985, missing only a few years in between, one special "miss" was when we went to New Zealandfor 6 weeks.
Then in June we travelled to the Gold Coast, Australia for 3 weeks, stopping over for only 1 night in Tokyo.
It is such a long journey down under, but well worth the effort to get there. I know they keep beating us at Cricket, but who cares !!
I am hoping to add more to my Australia adventures, also the Barbados page.
Well in 2 weeks we are jetting off on a tour of California & the Golden West, taking in favourite places of mine, i.e.
San FranciscoYosemite National Park Grand Canyon San Diego Las Vegas and not so favourite but still nice to visit places. Too many to list I fear.
Rounding off that trip is 4 night in Palm Springs to chill out after all that travelling, when back to probably a wet U.K. But hey, all will be rosy & bright because then we go In December - Vancouver - Hawaii- Toronto - coming back after New Year. I am going to something I always wanted to do, sit in the sun on a beach on Christmas Day, as opposed to cold U.K. So it is Waikiki here I come !!! need a few weeks rest them before Barbados 2004. It is a hard life this travelling, but you do get to meet some interesting and lovely people.
2004 - After Barbados our next trip wasMalta in October.
2005 - Barbados February- March, then May/June Canada East to West tour - fantastic. see my pages when completed. 2006 - Barbados 4 Weeks February - March. Meeting up with our repeat friends from Canada, and the UK, also meeting up with Bajan friends. As usual it was a great holiday.
Next trip is Belgium with the twins and son and daughter-in-law, in September then in October we are back to Malta again. |
