|  | My husband was a little worried about swimming with stingrays, well you assume from their name that you may get stung, but after all these years he knows resistance is useless, and we had one of the best experiences we have ever had |
| | we rode out to the sandbar where all the stingrays gather, and from the deck of the boat you could see the graceful shapes floating around us, there were so many ! and so BIG! I began to wonder if this was a good idea after all, but it was snorkels on and jump in before we lost our nerve |
| | It was amazing, they seemed to like us, they came and swam around os and began to brush their elegant wings against us. The undersides felt just like velvet and the spiny tails from whence they get their name was nobbly rather than sharp |
| | As they are by no means tame they arent a creature you can pet, unless they choose it.
If you EVER get the opportunity go for it, you will feel priveliged that these magnificent creatures welcome you to their habitat |
