Travelling to other countries means tasting that country in all possible ways. So, being in La Paz means also trying the local beer! I found Pacena to be a good beer.

I enjoy different cultures. So I was interested to go to the Uros islands in Peru. It was rather funny to see the absurd junxtaposition of solar-energy mast next to primitve small cabins the Uros people live in. Striking feature of this place: overcommercializated tourism (Allthough i managed to keep them away on this picture..)

The Salar de Uyuni and 'the lakes' in Bolivia is probably untill now the most surrealistic place i have ever been. This lake is entirely red. The others were green and blanc

i found Lake Titicaca to be one of the most impressive lakes i have ever been to.

Travelling around = meeting people. Here we met Matt, Annet and Richard. Of course we could not escape from playing that silly Sh..ithead game that backapckers in this regio of Bolivia seem to love...

The dessert is always a fine place to get thirsty.

...so, when you have left the dessert you are happy to find a good cold glass of beer. Happely we found Budapest for that purpose. Budapest is together with Barcelona a great place to hang out for a week and combine culture with great nightlife and meeting people.

And of course: Bulgaria, my favourite spot in Europe.
