I lived in Brazil for the most part of my life. To be more especific in the Sao Paulo State. And I never went to Rio de Janeiro.
Once I was going to Brazil, why visit Rio. Sure, I did I went to Rio and I meet this wonderful person, a vt member, of course.

Alessandra Alless. She is "Carioca", which is called people from Rio. With her patient and understanding...we went to the Sugar Loaf, had a wonderful lunch at
La Mole Restaurant. .
Making this one day Rio Tour short, I loved Rio. The Sugar Loaf in the morning and the Corcovado (Christ) at early evening.
Alless, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for everything! Obrigado! Danke! I really had a good time. Even when I was looking for shoes... Terrible thing. Went in about 6 or 7 stores and none would carry my size!!! Ladies, if your feet forgot to stop growing, Brazil is not a good place to buy shoes if you size is over 39 or 9. Take your fancy sandals with you!!!
