Inukshuk Trail

Inukshuk's 101

Here is a picture I took from on top of Mount Sofie near Nain. You will see I edited the picture with red circles on the picture.

Inukshuk's were traditionally used by the Inuit people to find their way across the land. If you look closely you will see that you can look through one Inukshuk and find the next Inukshuk and so on.

I feel it is symbolic of Inuit ancestry and a spirit of traveling. You will see it is also the icon for me Virtual Tourist page.

The rest of this personal travel album is dedicated to tracking my goal to make it to all 7 of earth's continenants. I have currently stepped foot on 3 out of 7.

Me on a peice of ice in Iqaluit

Most Unique Experience so far.....

In this chapter I want to highlight some unique adventures. Once I can say I truly enjoyed or experienced an extreme case of culture shock possibly and definitely off the beaten path!

Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada

Iqaluit is way up in northern Canada and amongst the ice, snow and dramatic tides, you have Canadian Inuit cultures and an aspiring region of Canada in the process of carving out its own identity.

Tetouan, Morocco, Africia

In Tetouan I was first exposed to Arabic langauge, dress, food and maze of streets that without some help, I may still be there!
