Then finally the food arrived. We were all quite hungry so almost everyone ordered something. I had and Uitsmijter (egg) with ham and cheese. Other had clubsandwiches, Roy (Imaniac) had his zuurvlees, and Ingrid had sateh with patat (fries).
Sabsi looking impressed at her clubsandwich. And the clubsandwich was looking impressive!!!
After we had the food we went on the city walk. Regularly stopping for some chatting and for explanations on what we were looking at by Roy, our excellent tour guide!
We started on Vrijthof where we had lunch and then went into the shopping street taking us to the Dinghuis in which the Tourist Information Desk is situated.
From there we walked on to the St. Servaasbrug, where we bought truckloads of postcards we promised to send to quite some fellow VT-members who couldn't be there with us...
From St. Servaasbrug we walked towards the OLV-plein. On the square is also the OLV church. Unfortunately we couldn't (weren't allowed) to take pictures inside the church. At the inner courtyard of the church we took our cameras out again and snapped some pics.

From the OLV square we walked to the OLV wal, which we also climbed. From there you have a nice view over the Maas and the cannons....
...José however preferred to first take a closer look at the cannons before climbing the wal!
At the end of the OLV wal we admired the Helpoort, or in english the Gate of Hell. Don't precisely know why it's called like that though. We climbed up all the steps in the Helpoort and saw some Vt-ers downstairs.
