Let me begin by saying that I am a white guy.... no, not an Eminem or Fred Durst type white guy, but a white-white guy. This night was all made possible by a guy that I have known since I was a kid.
I have always looked at him like an uncle.
Well, one day while we were talking he explained to me that he and "his crew" were the ones that started what has now become the world famous "Players Ball". In disbelief, I asked him to take me out for a night of debauchery and fun. He didn’t come, but he introduced me to the main "playaz" on the pimp scene. So this travelogue is dedicated to the part of Chicago that most will never get to experience.

To start, the number one rule in the pimp handbook to life is to always look good. It was explained to me that if your ho looks better than you do, that you were not living up to the "ramifications" that a pimp has to live up too.

So we went and got some Dark and Lovley hair coloring and did our hair as to prepair for the festivities that were ahead of us.

After getting ready we went to Charmains Social Club. Unbeknownst to me, these social clubs are private clubs that only certain people from the neighborhood are allowed to enter. I looked at it like a nice Country Club that has an amazing golf course. Yes, you must go up in front of a board of "trusties" in order to get a membership. Being that I was with the president of such a club I had access to anything and everything I wanted cart blanch.

Pimp... Pimp... Hooray!

Most of the time we were in front of the social club watching all the "females" walking by. Being with the Bishop Don Magic Juan was like being accompanied with the pope himself. People would stop their car in the street in order just to touch him or ask him for an autograph. We didn’t pay for anything all night.

At 79th East of the Ryan we were catered too. The people working there couldn’t have done enough to help us enjoy our stay.

If you have an urge to go and see what it is like to go "Steppin" and see the scene that the pimp's have created. I highly recommend that you go to East of the Ryan.

After the bar closed, we went back to the social club. I saw a few police cars pass us almost getting into accidents because they were staring at me in the middle of a huge crowed of people. I can only imagine what they were thinking.
