Our VT friends from Milan, Viviana & Paolo were coming to London for a week's break, so we decided to travel down to see them for a day.They met us at Euston & we had a great day, it was good to see them again. The day went very quick & didn't have time to see much, or take many pics (too busy talking !!!). Here we are in front of Kensington Palace, if they had any rooms vacant, we would have stayed the night, perhaps next time !!!

Well, back at Euston Station, ready for the trip home.
Poor Liz has very sore feet & I had to take this pic quick so she could sit down.
We've had a great day out, wish it could've been longer though.
Looking foreward to seeing Viviana & Paolo again.

Thank goodness for the British Policemen. It's lucky these three were "on their toes" & spotted this very dangerous & infamous criminal from Italy. As soon as they spotted him, the three surrounded him. We can all sleep in our beds safely tonight!!!
(Sorry Paolo, couldn't resist that, ha! ha!).

Thought we'd have Pizza Hut for dinner, we were starving after all that walking.
The buffet is very good value as you can go back for seconds,or even thirds !!! (we all did).

Just so you know, Viviana Meroni has written a book "Summer of the Beautician" (iUniverse), we took it with us to have it autographed. She has just finished her new one (haven't got it yet) "Honeymoon in London" (iUniverse).
One day she will be famous, so "watch out" John Grisham !!!!!

We stopped in a cafe, got coffee & cakes, yum! yum! & Viviana, Paolo & Lizzie sang "Happy Birthday" to me (I know it's a couple of weeks early, but who's counting !!).Viviana sang to me just like Marlyn Monroe sang to the President !!!
