On July 26, 2003, I met Hosell (Manuel) in Chicago to show him around the Windy City, where I used to live. Chicago was the last destination on Manuel's nine-state trip across the United States. We visited the Sears Tower, Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park, the Field Museum of Natural History, and some of the sights in downtown Chicago. The next day we drove to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where we saw the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Miller Brewing Company, the Potawatomi Bingo Casino, and some of the sights in the downtown area. We also visited the quaint town of Cedarburg, Wisconsin.

pabertra

On June 5, 2004, I drove up to Indianapolis to meet and have lunch with pabertra (Paige). During lunch we talked about Virtual Tourist and travel in general, of course. Paige loves to travel, and hopes to do a lot more in the coming years. She is especially excited about her upcoming six-month trip to Spain to study Spanish. During her stay, she also plans on visiting London, Portugal, and Morocco. After lunch, Paige showed me around the Arts District of Indianapolis, which was a new neighborhood for me.

I met chaco2589 (Kim) at the first ever Indianapolis Virtual Tourist Meeting on December 2, 2005. We met at the Claddagh Irish Pub in downtown Indianapolis, and only three of us Virtual Tourist members showed up (chaco2589, pabertra, and myself). That did not stop us from having a a good time discussing travel and other things. Kim is a relative newcomer to Virtual Tourist, but she loves to travel, especially to the sunny beaches of the Caribbean. She has been to Sint Maarten in the Netherlands Antilles and Saint Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands, and hopes to visit more Caribbean islands in the future.

Hello, David!

I suppose that you don't know that I have lived in colombia for aboput two years and a half and it really is a country which I carry in my heart. Nowadays one of my aunts and uncles and my two cousins live there. I will read your comments about Colombia with interest.

I also still don't have detailed plans for trips this year, but what we (my husband and me) certainly do have in mind for this year's summer holidays is a trip to Boston to visit my aunt and uncle who live there and from teher we hope to make some excursions around. Do you have a page about Boston or that part of the United States?
