This is a picture of two white pine trees that grafted together. A branch of one tree grew in the crotch of a "Y" of the other tree and as they grew the grafted. One tree is feeding the second tree.

Wild fires are a natural occurrence. Mankind has built in an area that naturally burns as a process of replenishing the soil.

During the last day of October and the first few days of November, 2003, Southern California experienced some wildfires in the mountains. Here is a sample of what many saw in all areas below LA.
