The reflection of the Southbank promenade's gas jets (which go off on the hour at night), reflected in the Yarra River, which flows through the city.
Each time they go off, they use about a year's worth of household gas.
The heat from the jets can be felt even from right across the river, where we were standing, and also through the glass from inside the upper restaurants facing the Yarra in the complex. |
