What would you do if you could... While sitting in my plane to Cuba last year I started thinking about what would be the most amazing trip possible for me.
I took out my Travel atlas and started looking at the countries I would want to see one day and how I could do this.
1) I would buy a van, with a matress in the back and an integrated fridge. So, I wouldn't need to look for a camping site anywhere. I could just sleep in the van when no accommodations are found immediately and I could keep my sandwiches and drinks fresh.
2) Things I would take along : my tent and all conditions clothing (winter - summer) My traveller's books and my pocket atlas.
3) What would my itinerary be ?
In fact I have 4, One starting from home, one in North and South America, One In Asia. the fourth is different as it would be by boat from australia to LA stopping at most islands.

It's just a dream This is just a dream as it would take me ages before I would be able to collect enough money to do this, but a man can dream... can't he ???
How long would I take to do this trip without taking any highways ? How many pictures could I take ?
Are you wealthy and you don't know how to spend your money... let me know and I'll be glad to do these trips with your money... you can come too then :-)
Or if every VT member gives me 10 Euro cents I would be able to do one of these trips... :-) |
