Outlook of the Apartment

Beatty Park Apartment

Well, friends of mine (especially those in Hong Kong) are always interested to know how I am going here. This is a chance for you to know more about me!!! I have uploaded all the picture I have taken the first week of moving in for you guys to have a browse.

Located in Vincent Street, West Perth, the apartment has a high accessibility to the city. But a central location doesn't give the apartment a noisy or unsafe disadvantage, rather it is quite nice and quiet. The view is great and I like the wind in summer, needn't an air-cond.

The apartment is better old, as the suburb isn't a new one. The colour of the lounge is a bit strange, but who cares about that.

Not much tall buildings in Perth, so I am proud to live in an apartment with a lift! And this "Breathtakin" picture is taken outside the lift of my floor. (See whether you can guess which floor it is from the picture.)

The good point of having this area is while you are up there waiting for your lift you can SHOUT to the person down there or vice versa. "Have you turned everythin' off and closed the window?" "I'm afraid NOT!"

Rather than looking down and shouting to buddies, the view from the corridor isn't really bad. It is part of Perth's view. And you can see I didn't fooled you, there is not much tall buildings here.

Living Room

Although I have been staying in Perth for 2 years, this is my very first time to live alone. I have tried homestay and sharehouse before. Living alone is a brand new experience and this is when I started to realised that there are so much to do. You have to finish the housework alone and have an eye on all the expenses. Poor me!

Will I move again? Hoping not. Moved 5 times in 1.5 years is not fun and a waste of time and money. Really want to settle down.

Dining Room

Called as dining room, it is a small area where a long table and two chairs located. At the entrance of the flat and next to the kitchen, it is the place I eat with friends and sometimes, doing homework.

When it is the right time, I usually buy a branch of flowers and put it on the dining table, giving my flat some green. It also inspired guests and me.

Kitchen

Living on my own means I have to feed myself. People always ask about my cooking. It is a shame to tell you all that I am not a good cook at all. I do not just burn food, but also hands. All kind of accidents have been happened here.

The dish always on menu is Nissin Instant Noodle. Hahaha~~ Actually I cook occasionally, sometimes simply Chinese dishes, easy Italian Pasta, and even European Dishes. You know, occasionally... ...

No BOYS Allowed ^_^

Bedroom

You are now inside a girl's bedroom, a NO NO for guys. Kidding~~ I have arranged my furniture in an U-shape, my bed, my study desk and my bookshelf. I now have a printer at the corner.

Taking the role as a student, I found most of the time I should spend on studying. Other than study, my room plays a very important part of my daily life. I sleep at night and also take naps before dinner. I spend most of my free time on the net. And I enjoy reading in bed, what a bad habbit. I have 2 bookshelves full of books. As you see there is one in my room, and another of the same size in the living room.
