| Outdoor cafés in Outremont (FC) |
Outremont is a wonderful little neighbourhood on the north side of Mont Royal. In the summer it really comes to life, with dozens of wonderful outdoor cafés. |
| Residential Outremont Street |
| | Outremont is a fairly historic area of Montreal. In many ways it reminds me of a blend between Paris and Chicago, but always with that unique flavour of Montreal! |
Les 5 Saisons There are exclusive shops throughout Outremont. This is the Les Cinq Saisons (5 Seasons) supermarket on Bernard. They have some neat things but it's quite pricey. | | | Les 5 Saisons, Outremont (FC) |

| Mounted Police in Outremont (FC) |
| | No, not all police in Outremont get around on horses! In fact, this was a rare sight. These two officers stopped to get a coffee. No accompanying donuts though. Hey, this is Outremont - delicious pastries are the norm here! |
Parc Outremont, located adjacent to St. Viateur and 3 blocks West of Parc Avenue, is a magnificent place, offering venues for kids and adults alike.
| | While not as prestigious as Westmount, Outremont has a number of fine looking homes as well. There's a great use of brick, in either the traditional orange variety, but also a lovely light grey type. |
Outremont is a very green neighbourhood, offering a great variety of trees, as well as large potted plants that are placed on most every commercial street in the summertime.
| | Outremont is full of lively grey squirrels. I always bring walnuts & peanuts with me to feed them. Okay, I really shouldn't but how else are thing going to survive?! :-) |

yaya15923 Mon Jul 28, 2008 20:09 UTC Planning a long weekend escape for August and your tips are extremely helpful. Thank you so much! | BeatChick Mon May 19, 2008 00:45 UTC That "expansive set of interconnected shopping malls" sorta reminds me of Chicago! I understand Londoners went wild over Krispy Kreme, as well, when it debuted @ Harrod's! Your Baton Rouge photo is gorgeous. :) Wonderful page on Montreal. | LKM1018 Thu Mar 20, 2008 12:45 UTC beautiful pics & tips! I can't wait to go. I was taught by French Canadian nuns..all they would talk about was the Beauty of Montreal and Quebec. | Manyana Mon Jan 21, 2008 21:19 UTC will visit montreal at some point - history, scenery, culture, languages...liked your pages, stunning |
