Pogaca (pronounced: Pogacha) is a traditional Serbian bread. It tastes the best straight out of the oven. The taste is even better if you eat it with kajmak (pronounced: kaymac) which is a traditional Serbian spreadable cheese.
Do you like the sound of fried bits of lard? While it sounds kind of gross and is extremely fattening, this stuff should not be missed.
Gibanica is a filo dough speciality with a filling. I personally love the cheese filled dough.
Yet another baked good, well we are a Souther people it runs in our blood, proja (pronounced: proya) is made out of corn floor. It is one of the healthiest Serbian appetizers around.

These Serbian dishes look delicious! We had gibanica on Serbian Christmas and it was my favorite. Love that cheese filling, too!
