I took these pictures Aug. 2003 in Taiwan. I'm beginning to suspect that the HRG fast food chicken restaurant was where everything started, and KFC is just a fake!

I don't know why lots of companies copy advertisements and jingles. I guess since they figured it worked one time, it'll work again. Hopefully, legal systems will get better in Taiwan to protect other companies. But I tell you one thing though... the chicken was great!

I took these series of pictures near the Nagoya airport in June, 2003. It's just yet another reminder that the Japanese Driver's Test is not about how well you drive. It's about how Japanese you can be.

You can find strange English everywhere in Asia. Japan is no exception.

I don't know who came up with the name of this restaurant, but I think it would make a great candidate for a franchise restaurant in Harlem, NY!

Seriously though, there was even a restaurant in Taiwan based on the Auschwitz Concentration Camp. Needless to say it was shut down soon after it opened.

That's a lesson for all you kids out there: Choose your restaurant names carefully!!!

Nahhhh... this sign found in India doesn't actually mean 'sexually transmitted diseases', it means Standard Trunk Dialing. it's usually accompanied by other acronyms, so you often find the sign that says STD ISD PCO: Subscriber Trunk Dialing, International Subscriber Dialing, Paging Channel Operation.

More or less, it's a normal business center!
