"Taking it all in..." Segovia Travelogue by sunset_gal

This cathedral was the first I saw in Spain. And I remember I was amazed by it. But don't ask me more about it cos all the Cathedrals and Museums started to look more and more alike as I went to more haha. I must be getting old ;-)

Aqueduct

This is the famous aqueduct, which go on for miles and miles. It is to the left of the Tourist Office - you can't miss it. There are a flight of steps on this end of the aqueduct. On top of it, there are great views of Segovia. Its architecture is really magnificent...

Me!!

That's me in front of the Iglesia de Vera Cruz, with the Alcazar behind me. The Iglesia de Vera Cruz is a long, long way down from the heart of things but it's definitely worth a trip down. It's beautiful down there!

Ok I got a reply from Beatriz! This was written by San Juan de la Cruz (1542-1591) and it means that "God gives you, whatever you ask", not literally of course. Thanks Beatriz! :)
