26 June 2003 - Frankfurt Wow, my very first VT Meeting. I met Pete ( pchamlis) with his wife and daughter in Frankfurt. After I picked them up at their hotel we had a great evening with the famous Apfelwein and German food in Wagners a typical Appler-Kneipe in Sachsenhausen. Sara, thanks for taking the nice picture. |
27 December 2003 - Heidelberg I met Nathalie ( Nathalie_B) and Dave ( CrtnShdofGrn) in Heidelberg. Despite the fact that I'm not a good guide I hope they enjoyed their short stay ... :-) |
20 June 2004 - De Haan Another VT Meeting in Belgium but this time a mini one but also a great one. Met with Peter ( Peter_P) and Els ( Mahieu) at the Belgium coast in De Haan and made a coast trip with the tram. Several stops for drinks were made ... It was a great day with sunny weather :-) |

I would not hesitate going to Central America now. Just stay out of cities, and don't be careless with your belongings. I'm just back from Honduras and I felt 100% safe there - more so than in Ecuador. |
