Loch Ard

This was taken in the small park next to the town called Loch Ard. We were there for a toilet stop! But the surroundings were very peaceful.

Sunrise in Melbourne

This is one of my favourite pictures. Taken at the Melbourne airport while waiting for my domestic flight to Tasmania. It was still very early in the morning, probably 6+. Wanted to go out of the terminal and get some fresh air and then I saw this. Had to take this, I thought to myself. And there! My first picture of Australia!! :-)

Puffing Billy

Awww...this is just about one of the cutest things to do in Victoria! We took the Puffing Billy train which chugs into the forest. Halfway into the ride, we could see people, young and old, climbing onto the side of the train and hanging onto the railings, with their legs hanging out! It was such a sight! And of course I joined in haha.

St Kilda Beach

Amongst all the concrete buildings in the city centre is a luscious and green park. St Kilda beach is very accessible. We went there by tram. Its a very popular place for walks, etc. There were also stalls by the side of the park. Paseo, anyone?

Cove

Found this cove along the Great Ocean Drive, on the route to the 12 Apostles. Love the way the clear water rush up into the cove. Wonder what it would be like to stay inside hehe...

Rock Formation

Another one of those amazing rock formations created by nature...This one had a name I think but I forgot ;)

There are alot of such rocks along the Great Ocean Drive. The best time to visit would be in the morning. But most daytrips leave Melbourne in the morning, so by the time you arrive, its probably late in the afternoon. We reached there around evening time, when the sun was almost setting, and thats why the washed out picture!

Well, now you know... ;)
