| Alcove at Schönhof/town hall's tower |
This travelogue is about medieval architecture in Görlitz' old town.
Here a snapshot of the Schönhof (see my "must see" tip) and the tower of the town hall. An interesting perspective I thought. :-) |

| | The Patrician houses in the old town are well preserved. Don't hesitate to enter them if the door is open to explore the fascinating architecture inside. Here a vaulted ceiling in one of the old houses on Untermarkt square. |
| | The Untermarkt square preserved its medieval atmosphere perfectly. The trader's houses, partly with arcades, are well preserved. |
| | The drug store to the right has a beautifully decorated/painted facade, hasn't it? |
| | A romantic place on the Untermarkt square. |
| | Brüderstrasse leads from the Obermarkt to Untermarkt square. Splendid Patrician houses to both sides, some with spectacular portals. |
