We were all excited; Jenny was coming back from New York for her brothers wedding. It also happened to be the week of her birthday. We don’t get to see her too often these days. This only meant we had to all get together, like old times, and throw a couple back.

We miss Jenny. Jenny misses us. It is rather perverse.

This is Katie and Rob. They’ve been going out for…I dunno – a while… It is indirectly my fault. She’s a former friend of a former girlfriend of mine, some time ago. That Ex turned out to be certifiable. It didn’t show up for quite sometime, but when it did, it was time for her to hit the Road. She ended up having a girlfriend after me before switching back. I don’t know what this means. Anyway, Katie stuck around. Glad she did.

I don’t know why they were laughing; I didn’t ask, it didn’t matter. I probably wouldn’t have found it funny anyway. It may have been about me. That’s okay. Laughing is good for the soul, no matter if it is a little induced or not.

Guys can just be around other guys. We don’t have to say anything. It also took Ricky about 12 seconds to start playing with his beer bottle, cracking jokes. Why? Because we’re guys.

A couple back turned into…too many. But you knew it would. This was only a halftime for these two. Rallied with a vengeance… about 30 minutes later.

What can I say about this hommie? Clarissa is money. She knows it, but she’s straight legit. No ego. Can’t find too many of ‘em. You’ll see pics of her all over the place. Someone’s gotta look out for this wild child, and say wuzzup when she don’t want to hear it. We got each other’s back.

I somehow got the two girls to start asking their boyfriends, my close friends, questions that began with, “let say we broke up…” Rob was not thrilled with me. He flipped me off and I laughed. I have to remind myself why I am single, and this amuses me. 2 birds, one stone.
