On Monday, June 16th, Luca was born in the V.U. Hospital in Amsterdam. Alice and Luca are doing very well and Youri is very excited about his new brother. We hope to start travelling as soon as Luca is fit for it. In the meantime we will keep updating the VT pages with old trips. |

| | Here, Youri meets his new brother for the first time. By the time we arrived home from the hospital he should be asleep for his afternoon nap, but somehow, he must have known what was about to happen, because he was wide awake and hadn't drunk his bottle of milk (which he usually empties within 5 minutes before going to sleep).

| | When Luca cries, Youri cries too. Youri is very caring and kind for his little brother. Although at his age, it is not easy to make clear to him what has happened in our family, he seems to understand very well that from now on he has a little brother to watch over. |
