Sheffield at winter time Nags head...beggining of the Pennine way.....world famous walking route up towards Scotland......My father has done this route three times by way of back packing.......any information needed I will try to get....routes,lodgings etc etc. Nags head is accessable smae way as Edale, two mins walk from Edale train station. |
Snow Drops The first flowers of Winter. You know things are going to get better when you see these. First sign of life in the winter months. |
Ladybower View of Ladybower bridge situated in the Derwent valley. There is a bus but best way is car. Excellent area for walking...there is also a bike hire shop at the tourist information shop at Fairholmes car park. If you take some bread you will be able to get the wild birds...sparrows, blue *** etc etc to land on your hand and take the food. |
