National Gin Museum

The museum is housed in a building that was used as a convent farm for Franciscan sisters in the 17th century. It was converted to a distillery in 1803.

Hayloft

Here you can read the story of how grains of barley become a dram.

Germination loft

Here you can compare the scents of herbs and various types of gin at the aroma table.

Millhall

In the millhall, you will find a corn mill and the mashing barrel, both driven by a steam engine.

Distillery Hall

The distillery hall holds the museum's showpiece: a 19th century steam operated distillery, which is unique in Europe and is still used today. It distills the museum's own distinctive gin.

Barn

On the ground floor you will find a huge liqueur distillery table, together with filling devices and a labelling table.

Public house

Here you can have a free glass of gin included in the tour. If you're up to more, you can choose out of 145 different types of gin produced by about 60 makers from all over Belgium.
