The remainings of Stein in Baden This was once an important watchtower and castle high above the city of Baden. It has its pendant (Schartenfels) on the other side of the narrow valley wher the river Limmat runs through.

The Wildegg A smaller but not less important castle is the Wildegg.
If you come with the Aare river from the direction of Bern then you'll encounter first the Lenzburg then the Wildegg and then Habsburg....
