Aerial views from Anglican Cathedra Tower

by sandysmith - last update: May 14, 2003

You can walk all around the tower, carefully keeping to the designated area. The views towards the Docks and the Liverpool waterfront are the best in my humble opinion.
Albert Docks
Radio City Tower
Radio City tower dominates the City
Paddy's Wigwam!
Looking down Hope Street to the Roman Catholic Cathedral.
Georgian streets
Lovely to see rows of the streets from up here too.
waterfront
This view of the waterfront also affords good views across to the Wirral - where on the furthermost point the sands and lighthouse at New Brighton can be seen.
top of the tower
The top of the western tower looks like this - peep through the arched facade for the views over Liverpool.

Hi Sandy, although it took me ages to click through all of your Liverpool tips, I must admit that this is a very informative page with lots of infos. I went to Liverpool this March and enjoyed it very much. A really cool place!

Hello You refer to the "3 Graces". I'm 50-something and I hadn't heard this phrase until a few years ago. It isn't a local, Liverpool phrase. Who started it?
