Just finished! | Still red from the needle |
This is my first tattoo, and I must say that I think that I might just have to get one more!
This tattoo represents many things to me personally. The sacred hoop and eagle feathers all have deep spiritualism.
The colors: black, red, white, and yellow represent the people that inhabit our Mother Earth. Each of these colors represent the four directions as well, black=north, path to wisdom, yellow=east, where the sun rises, white=south, purity, red=west, the spiritual road. The sacred hoop represents that all things in life are connected and never ending, but continue in cycles. The Navajo bear paw represents an animal totem. I can identify with the bear and have experienced and seen them in the wild. The bear paw represents inner courage and wisdom. It also represents the inner consciousness and thoughts that guide us in this world. |
