"VT Meetings - v1.0" by virtualpatrick

VT Meetings are get togethers among VT members and friends. Typically revolves around socializing in restaurants and/or visiting interesting places a particular city has to offer.

Dinner at Layla attended by VT'ers ceswho, tamirros, daddygila, cjg1, penpoison, kristara, ymike2000, hexepatty, and virtualpatrick.

After dinner - a walkthrough Little Italy, and over the Brooklyn Bridge where I learned about the watchtower.

Drinks at Milano's Bar attended by dracko (Roman), cjg1 (Chris), kindberg37 (Gale), and virtualpatrick (Patrick).

At 11pm went to the Scholastic store with Chris and Gale and stood in line with all the parents and kids waiting until 12am when the store opened. Chris' friend who works there helped us get in by 12:20am to get the new Harry Potter book - we did not even have a pre-order or reserve voucher. Just went in paid the cashier for a voucher and slipped right in to get the book - score!

Geisha_Girl (Rochelle) having her cake and eating it too. Even though we all shared the cake we still could not finish it between the 5 of us.

Drinks at Jack's Restaurant & Bar(40th St & 7th Ave / Broadway)
Attended by cjg1 (Chris), jessicadf (Jessica), tamirros (Tamir), ghurly (Girlie), and virtualpatrick (Patrick).

Dinner at an East Village Israeli restaurant called Rectangle's.
Attended by cjg1 (Chris), ceswho (Cecille), jessicadf (Jessica), tamirros (Tamir), and virtualpatrick (Patrick).

Chris, Ewold, Cecille, and Sandra are preparing to ride the NYC subway. Later on in the evening on the NJ PATH train, our visitors from the Netherlands (Sandra & Ewold) experiences the type of people who ride the train at 1am :-)

Dinner at La Vineria (19 W. 55th St. between 5th & 6th Ave) to welcome travellers Sandra & Ewold (from The Hague, Netherlands), and Luis & friend (from Italy) to NYC.

Got some culture at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and lunch at Serafina.

Afterwards, Chris and I went to Margaritaville to follow March Madness basketball and drink a few.
