My name is Carmen, but when I first join VT I decided to pu a nickname of my early university times, Carmela adding the year I was born. Not very original but I did not expect to spend so many time here on a web site lol.
I live in Marbella in the Costa del Sol, but I was born in Bilbao, and I have been living in Madrid, Burgos, Cadiz, Malaga ... in Germany (Munster) and England (Leicester).
Since I was born my parents took me to everywhere they went. So I have been in many places but I do not remember anything.
I Love travelling and meeting new people, different cultures ...This is one of the reasons I love Marbella, my city. Here you can find people from all over the world, and learn about them.
An statement in my life is: Never do to others what you do not wnat to be done ... Inteligent isn´t it?

| | Life is full of surprises Never say never! I would like to explain to you about my motto. Life has surprised me always, for good and bad !
I also used to say many times, that I would never do that or this... hehehe and in the end I have done most of it.
Specially in relation to the internet, at the beginning I said I would never put photos.. and look now lol..
Also I said I would never meet people from internet ( you know you always hear strange stories) and now I am a great fan of vt meetings!!!
And well what about internet relationships ..... of course I said NEVER and destiny changed my life .... Thanks VT.

Friendship is important in my life.
I belive I have good friends and they have showed me in many times and I also showed to them.
A good friend is a treasure.
But a friend is not the one that impose to you their way of thinking or behaving.
Understanding other positions and situations is the KEY for a relationship in any of the forms.

| | New member in the family With less than a month it has already 3550 km! After a long time looking diferent cars, diferent options (yes, we really needed a car, with all the travelling we do, not only for tourism, also for family reasons) we made our mind to this one.
As it is automatic and much bigger than my previous car (fiat Punto) I am taking my time before driving it inside the city ;-)
It has been already twice in Burgos, visited Granada, Avila, Segovia and Madrid in a month!!

| | Hobbies
Of course Travelling, meeting old, and new friends, photography, music, computers, VT, etc..
There is only a unknown hobby, that only close people know about it, Formula 1 and of course Fernando Alonso. Since 2003 I had woke up at night to see him running and not missing any race (ok only I miss it on Vt meetings/weddings snif snif). I remember when I was younger going to Jarama race, and my father talking about Formula one on the 70´s, but I got the bug back with FA! :-)
Looking forward FA as Champion and running with Ferrari soon!
Fernando Alonso became the youngest ever Formula 1 World Drivers’ Champion when he came in third in Brazil on 25th September 2005. He was just 24 years old.
We lost this year (2007) but we do not give up, now waiting for next year news and victories!
