My latest trip was to the North American desert in California and Nevada. Mainly travelling in Death Valley but some other places as well. The reason for the trip was to see as many Ghost towns and old mines as possible. And we were quite successful! Trona, Ballarat, Wildrose, Darwin, Keane Wonders, Aguerreberry, 23 Skidoo, Rhyolite and Death Valley Junction being just some of them. All of these places doesn't have a spot here VT, so some I'll just stick somewhere in California or Nevada.
I highly recommend you all to go into the desert, and even if you don't fall in love, like I did, at least experience complete darkness, and silence that will make your ears hurt. |
