I spent a summer up North in Whitehorse.. It was really my first time spending any time on my own away from home.. The first week was pretty rough, but after volunteering at the storytelling festival in Whitehorse, I made a few friends, and had a wild time.. Here's a shot of me at around 6am in the morning.. In my first year of university, my mom bought me a guitar.. It was a 1995 Fender Stratocaster.. Here's a picture of me on the day I opened it.. I still play it from time to time, and thankfully, am quite a bit better than I used to be..

Here are two of the guys I used to play guitar with: Cam Douglas and Dean Lucas... I'm the guy on the left in case you haven't figured it out yet..

Snow in Vancouver is a rare event.. I always get really happy around xmas time, and can usually be seen walking down the halls whistling, outsite caroling with my guitar, or drinking rum and eggnog with some friends.. So, as soon as I woke up and saw that it was snowing, I decided to go outside and make a snowman!

Well, back when the high-tech sector was doing well, they had lots of money to spend.. 3000 of us lucky people got to attend the JDS Uniphase Christmas party at the Ottawa Congress Center.. Here's a shot of the DWDM Engineering team having a few beers at Gerry's house before the big event.. Hmm, looking at this motley crew it's no wonder they went under =) I wouldn't have given us money to play with..
