My friend, Jessica is an 'It' girl. I don't kow what 'it' is, but she's definitely got 'it'! She's the impetus behind my starting to haunt NM, organize my closet, and improve my knowledge of dessert wine. So when she sent out an email about a lil wine tasting trip to Napa, I was all 'hell yes'! So, the first place we went to was Silver Oak. They have fabulous cabs! I got myself a great 97 cab and madeira. Our bus driver (yes, better safe than sorry), had to negotiate with us as to how many bottles he got to keep for each wine-enhanced joke we made. ......

we moved aftter a rather lengthy lunch at V. Sattui to Neibaum Coppola. I was mightily impressed withthe 'Winery that Dracula (the movie) built.' Upstairs, there was a mini-museum of all of FFC's movie memorabilia, including costumes from Dracula.
and even though you can't see it in the picture, there's a spout on the ceiling where they used to fill the basement with wine from upper level storerooms.
