The meeting started with a guided tour with one of the employees, Niek who liked to told us nice stories about medieval anprehistoric times.
Tom started well hehe...hang in there, we pick u up after the meeting:-)

Rudy and Tom liked to be tortured hehe

Niek (on the right)explaining about the earlier ages.

The Holy Oak with its virtality statue

Tonm is all ears...and "pannelap"

:-)

Rudy in the prehistoric area.
Because i tought our programm wouldnt be like a normal one, Wilfred from the museum baked 2 great tasting breads in the morning in a special oven.

One of the things on the programm was cutting wood to make a fire. Here u can see Alain

Tom is looking for?.....uhh

after cutting the wood and making a fire we prepared our own food in the old way, we had soup with fresh herbs, chickens wings and a dish with vegetables and grain .

l-to-r:Mirella, our guide, Kiriel, Gonnie , Tom and Rudy

i think we all liked the soup, but we had different opinions about the graindish:-)

this sweet mam had 10 kids on saturday and the next day 2 were disappeared? ........

euhm.....whats this? ^^ our own bar, well provided i can say:-)hahaha

at night a folsinger was invited by me to sing special folksongs, he did a fantasticjob and totally unexpected we had a beautifull singer here as well, Kiriel. wow she has a great voice.
The atmosphere was fantastic.

first time i stayed overight at the museum and i loved it a lot, except for the cold....i didnt take my sleepingbag, brrrrrrrrrr

just another shot and then....Alaians leg on the right site...hehehe

goodnight all, in 4 minutes time no noise at all at the farm, just some snoring hehe:-)

April 25, 2004 Eindhoven

i woke up at 6 am and after the toilet went back to sleep untill 8am. There was some chicken who had a wake-up song for Kiriel and us:-))))
We prepared our breakfast and the guys went with Freek to get some special wood, then we started with making brooms which was really fun. Freek told us what to do.

I have an affinity with Eindhoven having lived there for 3 years in the 1950's with the RAF. I love the place and visit each year for the Liberation & Peace Celebrations every September 18th. I'll be back again this year 2009.

Coffeshop without alcohol? I was in Eindhoven 2 weeks ago, and the Grasshopper had plenty booze and beer - and sports fans types. My friend was easily able to buy more than 5 grams, he actually bought ten, including the four or so grams he smoked there.
