Well, don't go looking for this, looking like this An artist's impression (I guess) of what Hadrian's Mausoleum probably looked like.

It's really interesting to bring up a photograph of Castel S Angelo to recognise the changes made over time to this wonderful monument. See next picture. |

I liked the colosseum aspects travellogue Carole. And as usual, I like the way you look at buildings, at the city, at history. I never visited Castel Sant'Angelo, may be I will have to do one day; it seems it is one of your favourites on this planet. |
