Trip of a Lifetime -- Amalfi

by unravelau - last update: Aug 4, 2007

Hair standing and mouth open.

Beautiful Amalfi
Picture gives you an idea of the width of the road.
Amalfi coming

Another out of the bus window view.

Just beautiful.

More and more coastline

Never tire of this kind of thing.
More Amalfi Coastline (Sorrento at this point)
Careful now.

Let's take a photo upwards now.

I was a little concerned about this bus friend. He was standing on a low fence with nothing between him and a huge drop.

Just simply magnificent.

More, and more beautiful.
Sorrento
It is very dark in the grotto

Armed with better knowledge I will do better

this time. Esmerelda Grotto as seen here at least shows that the water in Italy is fabulous for washing your hair and making it all shiny.........I keep wanting to turn the light on.

5 year anniversary ratings rewards!!! Some of the pictures remind me of Santorini.

I'm not a "beach-goer" but like cliffs and sea, and the Tyrrhenian is beautiful with your descriptions, Carole. Think Ulysses listened to the mermaids here between the Sorrento Peninsula and Capri; their songs added to the beauty. I will go there one day!

Great photos of this wonderful coastline -- I've never been but hope to one day -- the bus journey sounds like it's not for vertigo sufferers !
