Travel Tips

For 10 years I worked in advertising at a newspaper called The Ballarat Courier.
Once a year we held "Crazy Day" a shopping promotion day where we,and many other businesses in the city, dressed up in costume on a chosen theme.
It was quite a lot of fun, acting in character.

Acting in character may have been fun, but we still had to do all our regular work as well.
Customers enjoyed themselves by teasing us.

Here I am again

The police kindly loaned us their uniforms, hats and crime scene tape for this one! (We weren't allowed to have anything remotely resembling weapons though)

We had fun putting up wanted posters on our colleagues.

This time we wanted to do an Army thing...but not just any army, so we chose M.A.S.H. (note Clinger in the back row!)
The Red cross loaned us their flag, and the local army barracks kindly loaned us their camouflage nets, props, stretcher, and their uniforms. We weren't quite brave enough to put on the camo cream in case we couldn't get it off again afterwards!

This was for an Indian dinner night I had with colleagues, where everybody brought an Indian dish to share.
