We started at EL CUCHI with some beers, then went for a bocata de calamares, after that CASA ANTONIO for more drinks and ended at CAFE DEL NUNCIO with some coffees...

9th May 2003, with Holger (HORSCHECK)

We met at 20:30 at Plaza Mayor (at the horse statue). The first bar we visited was Riazor, a bar in Toledo street, at the frist corner in the left as you exit Plaza Mayor.
The second stop was Casa Antonio (Latoneros, 10. Close to Plaza Mayor), a classical wines and tapas bar.
At 10 we returned to Plaza Mayor to meet ARIADNE555 (Maria) and CHARADE (Sonia). There was a concert (Terence Trent D'Arby) there, so Eva, Maria and Sonia wnrt to hear a few songs, but Holger and me went to "El Cuchi", a typical mexican restaurant in Toledo street) to have some beers.
Then Eva left and the rest went to Las Bravas, a little bar whose speciality is a spicy tomato sauce that you can have with potatoes, octopus... and more beers!!

23rd May, with IVAN_JIMENEZ

Ivan, me, Joaquin, Maria, Sergio and Alfredo

We met at 22:00 (approx) at PK-Pika restaurant, in Segovia street 16, Madrid.
We brought some VTers, Ivan brought some friends...
We started with Mojitos, and a few kaipirinhas followed...
Delicious salads, chicken delights, and the best: fried green tomatoes with guacamole sauce!!!!
and for dessert, a delicious lemon and tangerine sorbets!!

10th July 2003

This time we met at Ducados Cafe, had some drinks there and moved to another one. At the street we found a guy offering us 3 free beers if we went to his place, so... there we went! The place was called "Cosa Nostra" and we had a couple (or was it 3, Christian?) of bottles of red wine, some "Surtido de Ibericos" (chorizo, serrano ham and other delicatessen).
On the pic: me, Sonia (Charade), Alfredo (AGarcia), Princess (Princess1), Christian (Christian_Lafont) and Vanessa (Vanessadb). Maria (Zindara) took the picture.

Some of Madrid VTers met for dinner at an italian restaurant in Chueca district. We had a nice italian dinner and then went for a coffee to a nice cafe nearby (Cafe Belen, see pic made by Alfredo).

Good tip about the Nettuno Caves - buy your ticket on top. We enjoyed Italy very much on our times traveling there.

OHH this is so close to you - just cross the Gibraltar straits :-) if you visit Chefchaouen so also try to visit Moulai Idriss
