A lonely male lion
Selous lions look and behave different than the Serengeti ones. The males do not have the big main their northern cousins. They are also much more active in the hunt, instead of letting the lionesses doing all the hard work.

 Great page on your safari trip with useful hints. The "slow" clock you mentioned here applies to many islands in Southeast Asia. The fisherman boat takes a few hours to arrive. SL

 Excellent photo of the crocodile (one of the best I've seen). It's such a difficult creature to photograph. Selous was great. Did you see the swimming elephants?
