| | Baby Tom was born August 30, 1959 in Amsterdam. Being the third son in his family Tom has no baby pics of him alone. Always sitting between his two elder brothers. That is why this pic is so narrow, the brothers are cut off........

Gonnie was born september 15, 1960 in Zevenhoven. Being the eldest of three, she has lots of beautifull full size pics of her as a baby.

| | primairy school Tom went to primairy school in his Amsterdam neighbourhood. The school was called: Hudsonschool. It was a public school, which in our country means there is no religious background to the school.

Although went to a protestant-christian school in the small village of Zevenhoven instead of the big city, the schoolpics were much the same. We all had to sit with our hands folded on a book.....

| | the long hair days When we were teenagers it was fashion to have long hair. Whether boy or girl, it was just cool.

| Our first newspaperpic together..... |
| | the time we met At 18 Gonnie went to a school in Amsterdam to learn an occupation. That is were we met. Because Tom was in the same class.
This pic was taken by a newspaper photographer during a break in our first long bicycle tour together. The four day tour was the LAURA starting each year in Alphen a/d Rijn. |
our mariage After three years we decided to live together. We moved into a flat in the Bijlmer, Amsterdam. A year later, tired of all the break-ins we moved to Almere. And another two years later we had the opportunity to move to Noordeinde (it then was part of Zevenhoven). After our 12,5 years-living-together-party we decided we knew eachother well enough to get married. So at age 35 and 36 we finally were īnormalī in the eyes of the somewhat oldfashioned people in Noordeinde. | | |
