These are misc. pictures which don't really go with the narrative to any extent.
We got underway from the marina without too much incident and had to go very slowly in order to get to the Bridge of Lions no earlier than 8:30. A boat named EMPTY POCKETS followed us through and then went out the inlet.
Bob pulled out the jib, and freed up the pit log (tells us our speed through the water), and started the refrigeration.
We saw a manatee statue (full sized) next to the waterway. It had rabbit ears on it for Easter. Wish I'd thought to get a picture.
Tied up at Pablo Creek on the outer dock. There was a fat blond cormorant on the post in front of the boat. I went up to the office to do email.
After the marina closed, a big power boat came in and tied up back of us. We ate on the boat, because the restaurant here has closed (gone bankrupt).
Today 3-21 we left a little after 7, and crossed the St . Johns River at about 8:12. It started raining and blowing about 9:30, but was done by 11.
When we get to Fernandina, we have done a total of 2164 nm since the start of the trip in October.

Your narrative and photos brought back such good memories But the water/shiatsu massage (Watsu) at the Amelia Island Plantation was really wonderful,(see www.watsuwoman for the Philadelphia version). .
